#6.Finish the piece

So tonight in my sketchbook I really leaned into the notion of finishing the piece, even if you know it isn’t your best work, see it through. Refine it enough that there isn’t anything else you could add.

I was dissapointed with how my gouche studies went the other night and I tried to reactivate my pallet and motivation to finish them. After spending a bit of time on them and thinking I could finish them with pencil at one point ( the wrong kind of paper for that to look good), I cut them up and hid them away in my sketchbook.

I eventually decided to just finish them off once they were in the sketch book just using watercolour pencils, this was really fun and relaxing. I also ended up just playing with some left over gouache and did an extra page of tomatoes. Some more pages of ugly art to add to the collection. Also my next two pages from my swatch collection, wax pastels and alcohol markers.
